Nintendo Life 于 2026 年 8 月 14 日发布了一篇专题报道,标题为《One Year On, Is Anyone Still Playing Drag x Drive?》,回顾任天堂体感篮球游戏《Drag x Drive》发售一年后的玩家留存情况。

Drag x Thrive?
Despite what some might think, Nintendo is always releasing games under new IP. It’s not all just Mario and Pokémon. In late May, they released Pictonico! on mobile, and in early August they released D-Hopper on Virtual Boy (technically an old IP that finally saw the light of day). And on 14th August 2025, Nintendo gave us Drag x Drive. Unfortunately, it wasn’t received particularly well.
Nintendo’s take on the sport of wheelchair basketball (although they went out of their way to not refer to it as such, instead calling the wheelchairs ‘vehicles’) was put forward as a showcase of mouse mode, a new hardware feature of the Switch 2. Using the Joy-Con 2, players control both arms of an avatar character and simulate the feeling of being in a wheelchair - from movement to throwing a basketball and even high-fiving other players.
